James is the broker and principal of Main-Street Commercial Real Estate.As a Tahoe resident (James grew up in Tahoe City) he provides Commercial Real Estate Brokerage services to business and property owners in the Tahoe, Truckee, and Sierra Nevada communities. He also advises and has an established clientelle throughout California and the United States.
James has practiced commercial real estate for over twenty years. He has worked with international corporate real estate advisory and commercial brokerage firms including: Trammell Crow Company and United Systems Integrators/Johnson Controls. He was the director of real estate for an international corporate real estate firm and account manager/broker of real estate for fortune 50 firm Charles Schwab Company, handling acquisitions of branch offices and call centers throughout the United States, including Latin American and Chinese branch offices.
As a broker, he has represented tenants, investors, institutional property portfolios, publicly traded companies, regional business, small business, corporate property owners, individual property owners and fortune 500 firms. He provides advisory services to clients with complex real estate matters. He also lectures on various business and commercial real estate topics.

James has a degree in International Business & Commerce with additional degree studies in Humanities/European History -and- Spanish Language study from San DiegoStateUniversity, along with Business Real Estate studies at UCLA. He studied Latinamerican culture and Spanish language emersion overseas at Jesuit operated San Ignacio de Loyola School located in NorthernPeru for a year. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe and South America. He attended JesuitCollege Prep School in Sacramento. He was elected national honorary for San Diego State University Housing system, representing the University at National symposiums as a student housing delegate.
James volunteered throughout his college years, working as a resident advisor in the University housing system and a student counselor. His summers were spent volunteering with inner city children, as a counsellor and rock climbing instructor at a facility in Malibu. He shares his time between work and charitable causes: animal shelters, programs for the homeless, and mentoring 'at-risk' kids. He is an avid mountain biker, runner, sailor, tri-athlete, snowboarder and outdoorsman.
